Taking the place of our hugely popular glass platen, this is the super-hard-edged alternative that won't crack or shatter on its way to you or under heavy use. These platens are pre-fabricated and ready to bolt up & use on your Revolution. 

Just like glass, our tungsten-carbide platen is designed to provide a perfectly smooth, flat, parallel grinding surface that resists wear. With a Rockwell hardness of 91.8, this platen will stand up to your most aggressive shop tasks without softening at the edges.
